The present investigation was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the levels of motivation of the learning process in students of the Fiscal Educational Unit "Prócer León de Febres Cordero", who make up the population segment of people with unfinished schooling. To do this, a quantitative methodology was used with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, in which a validated questionnaire (EMPA) was applied to a sample of 100 students, guaranteeing the quality and reliability of the data collected. The results revealed significant variations between motivation levels where intrinsic motivation was observed to be slightly higher compared to extrinsic motivation, suggesting that students showed greater interest and personal satisfaction in their learning process. In conclusion, the research highlighted the importance of addressing motivation not only as an isolated factor, but as an integral component of students' emotional and academic well-being, which in turn can improve their educational experience and facilitate their permanence in the educational system. Therefore, the implementation of programs that promote motivation and emotional well-being in the educational context was recommended.
